I first heard your song”A Sound of Silence” on Radio Wien about a month ago. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL SONG AND A BEAUTIFUL VOICE TO MATCH! It is such a soothing song. The lyrics are great.
Please keep up the great singing and song writing.
@Daniel:
Exciting question! – To find my inner peace has definitely been a challenge throughout my entire life. Interestingly enough, since I started presenting my songs to the public I find it a lot easier to perceive and decide when it is time for some inner relaxation.
I am even convinced, that this ability is necessary, to continue doing music in a healthy and joyful way.
Take care, Eva
Hi Eva,
I find the song „A Sound Of Silence” to be just wonderful. It not only calms me down when I find myself surrounded by daily stress, but it also allows me to just lean back and daydream.
Your personal goals and songs deliver love and affection to those less fortunate, and I find that just remarkable.
What personally interests me is: Are you still able to reach some level of inner peace? I mean, you are a star, and I would assume your daily routine to be quite stressful.
Dear Brigitta,
Thank you for this adorable story! – While reading it I was deeply moved, almost to tears that is. I’m glad to hear that Elena so greatly enjoys singing and listening to „A Sound Of Silence”.
Best wishes to you and Elena,
Eva
Hello Eva,
a couple of days ago, when I was bringing my 4 year old daughter Elena to the kindergarten, she listened to „A sound of silence” on the radio station OE3.
As the song ended, she wanted to listen to it again and started crying utterly. Obviously, i explained to her that this was not going to be possible due to the way the radio works. The only way I was able to calm her down was when I promised to look for the song on you tube that same night.
Now, instead of watching the „Barbapapas” on the weekends, she enjoys your video clip. She sings along – without even understanding one word, and while doing so she is the happiest child imaginable.
Thank you for this wonderful song!
Lots of love, Brigitta
Thanks Eva for giving a voice to what I had silently written in my mind, the first visit I made to Greece. Thank you for singing this to me today! What a beautiful gift to receive!!!…..Perhaps Simon & Garfunkel might have given me those words sometime back in my youth. I am sure they were planted somewhere deep within and each time those words come together it springs a feeling of joy!!!!!..
Today for the first time I heard you with the “sound of silence” and ran home to find the origin & here I am ….sending you my very very best wishes and most of all to say Congratulations! you have done what I could only dream of & keep on singing & writing…. Maybe one day I will move words from my mine & hopefully or wishfully they will find a way to some voice……..
Enjoy your life & have fun! Will look for some info on when I can hear you sing my song……………
Hello Eva,
THANK YOU SO MUCH for these wonderful songs!!! ^_^ v
This is exactly the music that I have been looking for – you took the words right out of my inner world and added music. *gg*
I hope you will release a new, great album in the near future – the first one is just AMAZING!!!! I already know (almost) all of your songs by heart.
Dear Eva,
Thank you so much for the autograph with the friendly dedication, it made me really happy and my boyfriend Werner had this fantastic idea, to contact you . Your voice touches heart, soul and mind and I wish, that people could just wake up out of their sleeping-beauty trance and realize, what is really important in their lives – LOVE. There is just far more out there, than what our minds are able to perceive. Nowadays, the only people that usually recognize this fact are children . Yet some adults are able to construct a bridge between these worlds – like you by doing music or me by writing. Thank you so much for the inspirations and I wish you only love and the best on your future path – Monika
